Keystone Opportunity Zones (KOZ)

The KOZ program represents the boldest, more forward-thinking economic development program in the nation because it empowers local communities and has fostered unique state/local and private/public partnerships.  State and local taxes are reduced to almost zero through credits, waivers, and comprehensive deductions.  The tax abatements, depending on the zone, could remain in effect until 2018. There are 12 regional zones that encompass more than 37,000 acres.

Railways Property Directory

The Railways Property Directory is another resource that offers existing or potential businesses in Pennsylvania detailed information about properties that are, or could be, rail served. Each of the 205 properties in this comprehensive directory is described in detail through a site report accompanied by a location and site map with property boundaries. Businesses that locate on these properties are eligible to apply for financial assistance to construct or rehabilitate the existing rail freight infrastructure.

Work Opportunity Tax Credit

WOTC provides employers tax savings as an incentive to hire job seekers with barriers to employment.
